And so I'm back.
A fair amount has happened recently that I haven't written about.
Finally I've started to meet up with the Singaporean flourishers. Been out of the loop for ages, and now I realize how much material I've missed, how much I need to learn, and how much I need to catch up on.
Flourishers I've met so far:
Leon (first guy I met, has a nice two card twirl flourish I want to learn)
Jaspas (some pretty good original material, has style to go along with it)
Ling Xuan (has a LOT of unreleased material)
Bowen (quite a cool person)
Ben You (very friendly guy, some nice flourishing eye-candy)
Kevin Ho (amazingly nice and sociable, comments on skill are unnecessary I think)
A fun clique to hang out with, I feel.
Bought a couple of Brown Wynn decks (going for 18 dollars) at Bugis, and picked up the new Split Spades Lions, red and blue from David Blaine there as well. Now just fooling around with the Clip Shift as demonstrated by the others.
And then there's this insanely visual color change, that is not only beautiful, but very, very knacky to pull off as well.

I'm not even going to try learning this one.
